World performance runners during record attempt “longest distance danced in a conga line”
Saturday, February 22, 2020, a group of 12 runners attempted to set a new record for the Guinness Book of Records as part of the 55th anniversary of “n Lesten Stuuver. The official title is “longest distance danced in a conga line”. For the purpose of this record, a conga line consists of at least 10 people moving forward by walking three on the beat, followed by a kick slightly ahead of or on the fourth beat of music. The official record is stands on 18,224 km. In addition, another group is England waiting for the award of their run record of 22.4 Km.
Record set at exactly 25 km.

After running 100 laps of 250 meters at the sports complex of v.v. RSC in just over 7 hours (incl. breaks) the counter was set exactly at a proud 25 km. A great performance by an enthusiastic group that was not disturbed by the strong wind and heavy rain. Soon all the evidence will be send in and after that it will take 12 weeks for the answer to be granted.
